Choreographer - Teacher - Performer
Jason was born and raised in Central Pennsylvania. He started dancing at 5 years old at the Marie Shaw School of Dance in Reading, PA and graduated with a BFA in Musical Theater from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. He spent 11 years performing professionally. Credits include the first national tour of the revival of 42nd Street The Musical (original cast) and regional theaters all around the United States as well as several theme parks. Marquette has been teaching for over 17 years and has adjudicated and taught in cities all across the country. He has been commissioned to teach at several conventions in the U.S. as well as bringing his unique approach and unparalleled energy to the international markets in Helsinki, Finland, Guayaquil, Ecuador and Guatemala City. He was on faculty at Broadway Dance Center in New York City for six years and is currently teaching at Pearl Studios.
