โœˆ Aviation Maintenance Journey Underway

A&P in
Progress

I am building the next chapter of my career in aviation maintenance while working toward my Airframe & Powerplant certification. This site documents the study notes, hands-on projects, FAA references, and practical lessons I am learning along the way.

Current A&P Focus

I am especially interested in aviation maintenance opportunities at or near IAH and CXO airports.

๐Ÿ”ง

Maintenance Fundamentals

Building core knowledge around aircraft hardware, inspections, repairs, safety practices, and maintenance documentation.

โšก

Electrical & Troubleshooting

Connecting aviation electrical theory with practical troubleshooting, sensors, wiring, displays, and diagnostics.

๐Ÿ“˜

FAA References

Organizing study notes around FAA publications, FAR-AMT rules, AC 43.13-1B, forms, records, and test prep topics.

A&P Study Notes & Blog

I use the blog to turn class notes, FAA references, and hands-on learning into clear study guides.

Blog
FAA FAR-AMT Rules & RegulationsPractical study notes for A&P written-test prep.
AC 43.13-1B Study TopicsAcceptable methods, techniques, and practices explained clearly.
Aircraft Hardware & Safety WireBolts, rivets, torque, turnbuckles, and inspection basics.
Electrical Theory for A&PSeries/parallel circuits, batteries, alternators, generators, and troubleshooting.

Hands-On Projects

Projects that combine aviation, electronics, software, displays, sensors, and real troubleshooting.

Weather Sensors

ESP32-C3 temperature and humidity sensors used to practice wiring, I2C, ESPHome, and Home Assistant.

Technical background, aviation maintenance focus.

Before starting my A&P journey, I built a career in technology operations, infrastructure, cloud systems, automation, and troubleshooting. That background taught me how to diagnose complex problems, follow procedures, document work clearly, and keep critical systems reliable.

Today, that experience supports my aviation maintenance training โ€” but the focus of this site is my path toward becoming a skilled, safety-minded A&P mechanic.
